"Chincoteague's Fun Store," the
Kite Koop & Book Store has been serving Chincoteague Island for over 30 years. Current owners, Owen Hooks and Kathryn Adkins, purchased the store in 2008. We have continued to offer quality kites for the beginner and the expert alike, as well as the oldest full-service bookstore on the Island. In addition, we have expanded to add a Used Book Nook with both hard bound and paperback selections. Our collection of garden flags and sports flags is unmatched in the region. Of course, we have a wide variety of unique toys and puzzles, for children of all ages. And don't forget to check out our windsocks and spinners.
